Performance Mode

One switch for the heavy visual settings: High performance, Balanced, Good looking, or Custom. It controls things like auto coloring, blur, glow and parallax at once.

Fix yt-dlp Big Thumbnail Size

Files downloaded by yt-dlp can carry a huge embedded thumbnail (webp, usually re-encoded). This re-embeds max image quality available directly without re-encoding it to another format.
Expected result: smaller file sizes and faster artwork loading, the audio itself is untouched. (example: 1MB -> 128KB per image)

Compress Images

Compress artworks and cached images to save storage, you choose the compression percentage.
Expected result: noticeably less storage used by images, with little visible quality loss at moderate percentages. Original audio files are untouched.

Cache Limits

Maximum size for image, audio and video caches. Oldest and least important items get cleaned first, see Caching & Offline Playback.

Clear Caches

Clear image, audio or video cache. For video and audio cache you can choose exactly what to delete.
