The pages of the YouTube section.
Most pages have a Namida variant, and an account one for when you are signed in.

Sections

The header at the top of the YouTube tab switches between Home, Notifications, Channels, Playlists and Downloads. A small badge shows each one’s source:

Local: what Namida keeps on your device (its own watch history, playlists and subscribed channels).
YouTube: your signed-in account’s live data, the default once you are signed in. 🎉 Namida & Account ↗

Navigating:

Tap the selected section again to switch its source.
Long press the YouTube tab (or press its arrow in the side menu) to jump straight to a section.

Home

Your YouTube feed, with notifications and subscriptions when signed in. Your account’s home feed needs a membership. 📄 Membership ↗
In notifications, you can play all unread videos at once, and comment notifications open the comment with its replies. If new notifications don’t show up, switch the extractor from the button at the top.
Open a notification’s menu and press “More” to hide it, or to turn off notifications from that channel (this one needs a membership). 🆕 v7.4.0

Playlists

Your YouTube playlists, along with the built-in ones: History, Most Played and Favourites. You can create playlists, and import your existing playlists and channels from a YouTube takeout export. 🎉 Playlists & History feature ↗ 🎉 YouTube Playlists feature ↗

Channels

Your subscribed channels, they can be organized into groups. Each channel page shows its videos and info.
Press the time range icon in a channel page to list only videos uploaded after or before a date. 🆕 v7.0.0
Tap the channel picture or banner to view it fullscreen, with a save button. 🆕 v8.2.0

History

There are two YouTube histories:

Namida: the videos you watched in Namida, with their own Most Played. Find it in the Playlists section (Local), it’s kept apart from the history of your local music library.
Account: your account’s watch history, at the top of the Playlists section (YouTube). Needs a membership. 📄 Membership ↗

Downloads

Manage all download tasks (pause, resume, retry or cancel), with a failed only filter. Playlists get their own batch download page. 🎉 Downloads feature ↗

The flash icon at the top sets how many downloads run at the same time (4 by default and up to 10), the icon shows the current value. The rest wait until a slot is free. 🆕 v7.1.0
The same dialog has “Threads per download”, how many connections each big file downloads over (3 by default and up to 8). 🆕 v7.4.0

Cache tasks show up here too, grouped under their playlist. While downloads or server caching are running, an icon with a count shows in the app bar, press it to open this page. 🆕 v7.4.0

Search

Search YouTube directly, results include videos, playlists and channels.
Offline search is available for browsing what you already have, turn on the “Cache” chip 🆕 v7.4.0 to see only videos you can play offline (cached audio, cached video or a linked local track).

A filters row sits above the results:

Type: All, Videos, Channels, Playlists or Movies.
Sort by: Relevance, Rating, Upload date or Views.
Date: Last hour, Today, This week, This month, This year, or pick an exact “is After” / “is Before” date.
Match: Exact phrase or In title, plus words to exclude. 🆕 v8.2.0

You can also type the date right in the search text (like after:2024-01-01 or before:2023-06). The date range applies to offline search too.
Same for match filters ("exact phrase", intitle:word, -word), offline search included. Exact searches also skip autocorrect. 🆕 v8.2.0

Hashtag

Tap a hashtag in a video description or a comment to open its page, with the videos, shorts and playlists using it.
